I had trouble connecting to the home’s TS-109 via FTP using explicit TLS. I used to connect to my Filezilla Server with the current stable Filezilla client v2.2.xx. When i tried to use Filezilla to connect to the new TS-109 it was not working. With the QNAP support we tried to solve the issue with a interim build of the firmware, finally i could track it down to Filezilla v2.2.xx + explicit TLS as the faulty part.

When switching to Filezilla v3.0rc2 + explicit TLS or Core FTP Lite v2.0 + explicit TLS everything worked fine.

Hier für alle das Video zum direkt ansehen oder runterladen, einmal 540MB Größe, für Leute mit schnellem DSL, einmal 120MB Größe, das sollte auch bei langsameren Leitungen noch gut laufen!

Nachdem ich zuletzt komplett auf drahtlose Verbindungen umgestiegen bin (Richtung 802.11n), ergab sich bei Fernwartungsversuchen von extern das Problem, dass nach dem Login via Remote Desktop die Verbindung gekappt wurde.

Dieses tritt im Zusammenhang mit der Intel ProSet Software auf. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall das Feature “Voranmeldung” mitinstallieren oder nachinstallieren (Software-Ändern), oder alternativ die Windows WLAN-Verwaltung nutzen, die macht das als Standard.

this driver has helped a lot on my notebook!
I am using a Dell Latitude D830 with the X3100 and had trouble with 2d performance (!) and switching to enhanced displays, as well as with smaller games. I had also been used to profile management from the former gm855, gm915 and gm950, where you could define monitor configurations. This had been missing in the first driver version.

Now the desktop seems so much faster in building up (wuxga 1920×1200), games are much faster, profile mangement is working and switching displays is fast and working like a charm!
